Decision
Use Obsidian (local vault) + Quartz (static site) + D3 force graph (custom) hosted on eBrain.S-3.us via Cloudflare Pages.
Rejected: Obsidian Publish
$8/month, locked to obsidian.md subdomain, no visual customization of the graph.
Rejected: Graph DB + Custom React App
Neo4j/Memgraph adds weeks of build time and ongoing maintenance. Approach B achieves the same visual result using the wikilink graph Quartz already extracts — no database, no migrations.
Consequences
Vault lives at S3project/knowledge/. Git push → GitHub Actions → Quartz build → Cloudflare Pages deploy in ~45 seconds. Add/remove/archive a project by editing one markdown file.
